U.S. Senator delivering a speech in the Senate chamber, emphasizing key legislative points with hand gestures and a serious expression.

Senate Majority Whip John Barrasso delivered a blistering floor speech Tuesday, exposing the Democrat Party’s priorities during the ongoing partial shutdown of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).

While roughly 50,000 TSA agents are required to work without pay, causing massive airport delays and forcing hundreds to quit, Democrats are laser-focused on protecting illegal aliens.

Barrasso played a clip of Democrat Sen. Chris Murphy admitting on live television, “The people we care most about… are the undocumented.” He explained that the Democrat strategy for over 30 years has been to make undocumented immigrants citizens.

Barrasso stated plainly, “This is a Democrat… ‘the people we care most about,’ he says, ‘are the undocumented.’”

“Not these people who are working every day,” Barrasso said of American TSA agents.

Murphy made the comment during a 2024 MSNBC interview discussing immigration policy.

Murphy said the Democratic approach “has failed to deliver for the people we care about most, the undocumented ‘Americans’ that are in this country.”

Barrasso summed it up by saying, “The American people are wondering today… why the Democrat Party continues to stand up for illegal immigrant criminals against law-abiding citizens.” He warned that Democrats are willing to “make people hurt” to protect their open-border agenda.

WATCH:

The resurfaced admission has gone viral as the DHS shutdown drags into its sixth week.

WATCH:

The partial DHS shutdown began in February after Democrats blocked full funding for the department unless it included restrictions on Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) operations, such as limits on the use of masks by agents or on warrantless arrests.

Republicans have repeatedly offered clean funding bills and targeted measures to reopen TSA, the Coast Guard, FEMA, and other critical functions, but Democrats have voted them down.

As a result, TSA officers, who are deemed essential workers, have missed multiple paychecks for the third time in six months.

DHS reports that more than 450 TSA officers have already quit since the shutdown started.

Absenteeism has skyrocketed, with over 11 percent of agents calling out on some days and rates approaching 30-50 percent at major hubs like Houston, Atlanta, and New Orleans.

Travelers have been facing hours-long security lines during peak spring break travel.

Andrew Hugg, Branch Chief of Nuclear and Chemical Surety at the U.S. Department of the Army, discusses collateral damage in a candid conversation.

The O’Keefe Media Group on Tuesday released undercover footage of a top nuclear chief leaking sensitive national security information to a stranger.

Andrew Hugg, a Chief of Chemical Nuclear Surety disclosed sensitive information to a date in a public restaurant.

Hugg told an O’Keefe Media Group undercover journalist that the US still possesses nerve agents and a US Army chemist recently died from exposure.

Andrew Hugg also confirmed that Ukrainians have taken US taxpayer and used it to buy mansions.

At one point, Hugg asked the OMG journalist, “You’re not a spy, right? Your eyes have mesmerized me so much…Almost like you’re an intelligence.”

“The easiest way to get intelligence…send a pretty girl, talk to the guy…I have to resist your eyes,” he said.

Per the O’Keefe Media Group:

Andrew Hugg, a U.S. Chief of Chemical Nuclear Surety, was caught on hidden camera casually revealing sensitive information to a stranger in a public restaurant. Andrew Hugg, Chief of Chemical Nuclear Surety, in charge of nuclear and chemical safety was caught on hidden camera releasing information regarding the U.S. Nuclear Information.

He claims the U.S. still possesses nerve agents and says a U.S. Army chemist recently died from exposure.

He also acknowledges U.S. airstrikes have killed children in Iran, calling it “collateral damage,” and revealed to the journalist how nuclear launch decisions are made in real time.

Hugg described how the United States could assassinate Iran’s next leader if he “doesn’t change,” while admitting the U.S. has no plans to use nuclear weapons: “We’re not going to nuke anybody.”

All of this was casually revealed to an undercover journalist in a restaurant. This raises serious questions about this official’s judgment, security, and what’s really happening behind closed doors.

WATCH:

Update: Hugg was escorted out of the Pentagon on Tuesday and placed on administrative leave amid an investigation.

Leakers Sabotaging Supreme Court AGAIN: Internal Memos Exposing Conservative Push to Block Obama’s Climate Power Grab Leaked to NYT

The Supreme Court of the United States, 2024

In yet another brazen breach of the Supreme Court’s confidentiality, internal memos from a pivotal 2016 battle over former President Barack Obama’s controversial Clean Power Plan have been leaked to The New York Times.

The documents, which were never meant to see the light of day for decades, detail a five-day flurry of confidential exchanges among the justices that ultimately led to a 5-4 emergency order blocking Obama’s signature climate regulation.

Chief Justice John Roberts and other conservatives argued the plan would cause “substantial and irreversible” harm to the power sector if allowed to take effect before full review.

Leaks at the high court have become disturbingly frequent, and they almost always seem to be targeting the conservative justices.

The leaked papers show the court grappling with whether to issue an unprecedented stay on the Clean Power Plan, Obama’s aggressive EPA rule aimed at slashing carbon emissions from power plants by 32% by 2030.

Conservative justices emphasized the immediate economic damage the regulation would inflict on utilities and states.

In one memo, Roberts warned, “Absent a stay, the Clean Power Plan will cause (and is causing) substantial and irreversible reordering of the domestic power sector before this court has an opportunity to review its legality.”

Liberal justices pushed back, but the court ultimately sided 5-4 to block the plan, a decision many legal experts now view as the birthplace of the modern “shadow docket,” the fast-track process the Court has increasingly used for emergency rulings on major issues.

WATCH:

This is far from the first time the Supreme Court has been hit by damaging leaks.

The leak of the 2022 Dobbs draft opinion, which overturned Roe v. Wade, remains unsolved despite an internal investigation.

It is time to identify the leakers, fire them immediately, and impose real consequences for their acts of sabotage.

Fox News reports:

Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson, an appointee of former President Joe Biden, has been among the most vocal dissenters in emergency cases during President Donald Trump’s second term as the president frequently benefits from the fast-paced docket. Jackson is sometimes joined by her two liberal colleagues, Kagan and Justice Sonia Sotomayor, in her dissents, and emergency cases have often split 6-3 in favor of Trump.

Last week, Jackson aired her grievances in a different forum, blasting emergency docket decisions during a Yale Law School speech as rushed, “scratch-paper musings” that undermine the high court’s purpose.

“Given the real world facts that a stay request asks the court to consider, the court’s stay decisions can, at times, come across utterly irrational,” Jackson said. “We cannot expect the public to have faith in our judicial system if, without clear explanation, we consistently greenlight harmful acts.”

The Supreme Court has not yet issued an official statement on the latest leak.

Chief Justice Roberts previously called a prior breach “absolutely appalling” and an “egregious breach of trust,” but no leaker has ever been publicly identified or punished.

The Gateway Pundit will continue monitoring for any official response from the Court or new developments in the investigation.

Senator Elizabeth “Pocahontas” Warren (D-MA) was left red-faced today after trying to humiliate Trump’s Federal Reserve nominee with a gotcha question because he had some humor she was not ready for.

As CNBC reported, the Senate Banking Committee is holding a confirmation hearing for 56-year-old former Federal Reserve governor Kevin Warsh.

Democrats are peppering him to with questions on issues from his views on monetary policy, his personal finances, and his ties to the Trump White House.

Warsh would become the wealthiest Fed chair if confirmed.

Warren decided to try to pit Warsh against President Trump by asking him a silly gotcha question: what is one thing you disagree with the president on?

Warsh, though, refused to take Warren’s bait. He calmly responded that the the Federal Reserve has wandered outside its purview in recent years and he would not do so.

After, the role of the chair is to remain independent of the president.

Warren decided to try again with the same gotcha question and Warsh delivered an awesome response that will no doubt have Trump cracking up.

He said that he totally ‘disagreed’ when Trump told him this morning he looked ‘straight out of central casting.’ Warsh said that for that to be true he would “look older, greyer and show up with a cigar of sorts.”

Pocahontas, of course, was unamused at his reply.

WATCH:

WARREN: Name one aspect of Trump’s economic agenda with which you disagree.

WARSH: Well Senator, the Federal Reserve has wandered outside its (purview)…That’s not something I’m prepared to do.

WARREN: Just one aspect…Just one little place you disagree with Donald Trump on.

WARSH: I do have a disagreement, actually, with the president. This morning, he said that I was out of central casting. (If that were true) I’d look older, greyer and show up with a cigar of sorts.

WARREN (scoffing): Quite adorable.
