SEND IN THE TROOPS! At Least 5 Dead, 10 Wounded So Far in Chicago Weekend Shootings

Another wave of violence and murder swept through Chicago this weekend, with at least five dead by Sunday afternoon.

At least five murders and ten shooting-related injuries had been reported as of 2:08 pm ET.

Several teens as young as 15 years old were injured. One 19-year-old and one 16-year-old were transported to the hospital in critical condition.

Per CBS News:

At least five people have been killed and 10 others have been wounded in weekend shootings across Chicago.

The ages of the victims range from 15 to 44.

In the first shooting of the weekend, a 32-year-old employee of a business in the South Loop got into an argument with a 31-year-old man in the 1300 block of South Michigan Avenue around 9:30 p.m. on Friday.

This included at least two shooting incidents on Friday, starting at 9:30 pm local time, seven on Saturday, starting at approximately 1 am, and five on Sunday, starting shortly after midnight.

In nearly all cases, nobody was taken into custody.

This comes after 58 people were shot in Chicago last weekend, leaving eight dead.

The weekend before, at least six people were killed and 27 were injured, with victims as young as five years old, in shootings.

The Trump Administration has been planning federal law enforcement operations and potential National Guard deployment in the Windy City, citing the violent crime crisis.

It was recently revealed that 200 or more Department of Homeland Security (DHS) officials would be deployed in the sanctuary city of Chicago to carry out deportations. The National Guard may also be deployed as a deterrent to rioters and criminals.

President Trump pointed to the data from the last two weekends and shredded a reporter at the White House earlier, when asked why he was targeting Chicago with law enforcement actions.

"Excuse me, do you know how many people were killed in Chicago last weekend? Eight. You know how many people were killed in Chicago the week before? Seven," he said. "You know how many people were wounded? 74 people were wounded. You think there’s worse than that? I don’t think so."

(VIDEO) Rep. Brandon Gill Forces Tim Walz to Admit He’s Responsible for Fraud in Minnesota, DESTROYS Him for Retaliating Against Whistleblowers

Published

Two men engaged in a serious discussion during a legislative session, with one representing the government and the other a committee member.

Rep. Brandon Gill backed Minnesota Governor Tim Walz into a corner on Wednesday during a House Oversight Committee hearing, where he forced Tim Walz to squirm on questions about the fraud and retaliation against whistleblowers in Minnesota.

Notably, he forced Walz to admit to the staggering inflation of Medicaid claims and that the numbers don’t make any sense. Walz even agreed that, as Governor, he is responsible for any tax dollars defrauded from the people.

After establishing that Walz was either complicit or grossly incompetent in allowing billions of dollars to be stolen through programs like autism assistance, which saw a 500-fold increase over a six-year period, Gill tore into Walz for his administration’s retaliation against whistleblowers.

While Walz did not admit that Minnesota retaliated against countless individuals who attempted to highlight fraud, Walz was scrambling while attempting to deny that whistleblowers had their reputations destroyed.

“You supervise a lot of employees, and as you have said, the buck stops with you, and your administration has treated whistleblowers like absolute dirt, and that’s a big reason why we’ve seen so much of our hard-earned tax dollars defrauded,” Gill said as Walz tried to deny all responsibility for how other state agencies have treated whistleblowers.

“This committee has spoken to nearly 30 whistleblowers, most of which are current employees in your administration, who have intimate knowledge of what’s been going on, who have all stated that they faced retaliation for calling out fraud,” he added.

WATCH:

Gill: Using 2018 as a baseline, do you know what that program [early intensive development on behavioral intervention benefit] paid in Medicaid claims?

Walz: I do not, Congressman.

Gill: It’s about $671,000. Do you know what that program paid in Medicaid claims in 2024?

Walz: I don’t have the number in front of me.

Gill: $342 million. That’s about a 500x increase over six years. Was there 500 times the number of autism patients in that time period?

Walz: I couldn’t speak specifically to it, but I will say, Congressman, that—

Gill: That doesn’t sound reasonable, right? That was a 500x increase in the number of autism patients in six years, right?

Walz: Correct, and that’s why we ordered on site visits, starting backin 2024.

Gill: So, we agree that that doesn’t sound reasonable. Would you also agree that a single taxpayer dollar wasted on fraud is a dollar too much to tolerate?

Walz: Yes.

Gill: Yep. And would you agree that, as governor, ultimately, you’re responsible if tax dollars are defrauded?

Walz: Yes, I would agree.

Gill: Would you also agree that calling somebody racist is a serious accusation?

Walz: If they are racist? I think it’s pretty accurate.

Gill: I’m asking you, is that a serious accusation to make about somebody?

Walz: I think it’s just an observation of reality.

Gill: All right, well, let’s go there. Is it racist for a government official to identify fraud?

Walz: No.

Gill: No. Is it Islamophobic to identify fraud?

Walz: No, I don’t believe it would be.

Gill: How come multiple whistleblowers have said that your administration told them not to say anything about widespread fraud across multiple agencies because doing so would be considered racist or Islamophobic?

Walz: I can’t speak to it because it’s not anything I would say.

Gill: Well, that’s what your administration has said and has told whistleblowers, and as you just testified, the buck stops with you. It’s what you stated in your statement, whenever you announced you weren’t running again. Are you familiar with Faye Bernstein?

Walz: Yes, I’m familiar with the name.

Gill: She’s a Democrat, isn’t she?

Walz: I wouldn’t know that.

Gill: She’s stated publicly that she’s a Democrat. She’s only voted Democrat in her life. She’s also stated publicly that she was retaliated against and called racist and that her work responsibilities were diminished whenever she was highlighting fraud within your administration. Are you familiar with that?

Walz: I couldn’t speak to that specific allegation.

Gill: Why do you think she would say that?

Walz: I can’t speak to what she claimed.

Gill: You have no idea?

Walz: I do not.

Gill: You would agree that the tone in your administration comes from you ultimately, right? The tone of how you might deal with whistleblowers.

Walz: Right, we protect them.

Gill: It doesn’t sound like you’re protecting them. We heard from Representative Kristin Robbins quote, We have dozens of credible whistleblower reports saying the exact same thing that people were told not to say anything because they’d be called racist or Islamophobic, or it would hurt the state. Do you think it’s racist or Islamophobic to highlight and try to stop fraud?

Walz: It is not, and I certainly wouldn’t—

Gill: It’s not, but that was the message your administration was sending to multiple whistleblowers.

Walz: I can’t speak to that.

Gill: You can’t speak to that? No, you don’t want to speak to that, I think.

Walz: I have over 40,000 employees–

Gill: Do you think whistleblowers should be retaliated against?

Walz: Absolutely not. They have strong protections in Minnesota, and lots of pass–

Gill: That’s not what we’re hearing from whistleblowers. Faye Bernstein, who, again, has stated that she is a Democrat, she’s only ever voted Democrat, says—

Walz: That doesn’t matter whether she’s Democrat or Republican.

Gill: That she was subjected to quote, ‘a smear campaign’ for trying to make leadership aware of illegal contracting practices. Why do you think that happened?

Walz: I can’t speak to that Congressman because we don’t do it.

Gill: You just don’t, you don’t know anything?

Walz: I do know that it, that we don’t— we have strong whistleblower protections, and I can’t speculate—

Gill: That’s not what the whistleblowers are saying. According to another report, quote, there’s just a continuous effort to stifle you, to shut you up, and it’s impossible to overcome. Your administration’s response to whistleblowers has also been described as, quote, nearly unbearable retaliation. We’ve heard claims that, quote, they’ve been denied vacations, promotions, and that it’s hurt people’s careers to speak out against fraud. Do you think that that had something to do with the prevalence of fraud in your administration?

Walz: I can’t speak to it, but it doesn’t happen.

Gill: Are you going to take responsibility for this?

Walz: I certainly— I supervise 40,000 employees. State agencies have their own—

Gill: You supervise a lot of employees, and as you have said, the buck stops with you, and your administration has treated whistleblowers like absolute dirt, and that’s a big reason why we’ve seen so much of our hard-earned tax dollars defrauded.

Walz: There’s, look, Congressman, I told you, we have strong protections. We have an office of—

Gill: This committee has spoken to nearly 30 whistleblowers, most of which are current employees in your administration, who have intimate knowledge of what’s been going on, who have all stated that they faced retaliation for calling out fraud.

Walz: I can’t speak to them and what they felt.

DEVELOPING: President Trump to Announce His Endorsement in Texas Senate Race – Will Ask Either Ken Paxton or RINO John Cornyn to Drop Out

Published

on

By

President Trump on Wednesday said he will be making an endorsement soon in the Texas Senate race in Ken Paxton vs John Cornyn.

Since neither candidate received more than 50% of the vote on Tuesday night, there will be a runoff election for the Republican Senate race.

Trump said he will be asking the candidate that he doesn’t endorse to drop out of the race.

“The Republican Primary Race for the United States Senate in the Great State of Texas, a State I LOVE and won 3 times in Record Numbers (the HIGHEST vote ever recorded, by far!!!), cannot, for the good of the Party, and our Country, itself, be allowed to go on any longer. IT MUST STOP NOW!” Trump said.

“We have an easy to beat, Radical Left Opponent, and we have to TOTALLY FOCUS on putting him away, quickly and decisively! Both John and Ken ran great races, but not good enough. Now, this one, must be PERFECT! My Endorsements within the Republican Party have been virtually insurmountable! It is such an honor to realize and say that almost everyone I Endorse WINS, and wins by a lot, especially in Texas!” Trump said.

“I will be making my Endorsement soon, and will be asking the candidate that I don’t Endorse to immediately DROP OUT OF THE RACE! Is that fair? We must win in November!!! Thank you for your attention to this matter. President DONALD J. TRUMP,” he said.

Ken Paxton, a staunch conservative and MAGA favorite

Paxton is well known for fighting election fraud in the state of Texas.

Ken Paxton also filed the lawsuit in 2020, contesting the election in four states where Biden reportedly defeated President Trump with mysterious late-night ballot drops. 126 US representatives supported Paxton’s case. 23 states joined Paxton and Texas in the lawsuit.

The GOP establishment is behind Cornyn.

Last summer, the worthless National Republican Senatorial Campaign (NRSC), a horrible RINO conglomerate that regularly refuses to fund popular pro-Trump candidates like Rick Scott, Ted Cruz, and Kari Lake – endorsed Cornyn.

Mitch McConnell and the NRSC have dumped millions into Trump-hating RINO campaigns.

British Journalist Alex Phillips Unloads on Keir Starmer and the UK’s Lack of Military Preparation : ‘You’re domestic terrorists!’ (Video)

British journalist, broadcaster, and former politician, Alex Phillips, unloaded on the UK government under Prime Minister Keir Starmer in a segment on Talk (formerly TalkTV) on March 3rd.

Phillips discussed the current actions in Iran, noting the UK’s lack of a prepared military, including the failure to promptly deploy a naval ship to protect Cyprus (specifically its sovereign military base at RAF Akrotiri) during the ongoing Iran conflict. An Iranian-made drone struck RAF Akrotiri in Cyprus, damaging the runway but causing no casualties.

Initially, Starmer limited British base use to defensive operations only, but later U-turned to allow US forces limited access for strikes on Iranian missile sites/launchers in “collective self-defence.”

On March 3, in response to the drone strike and growing threats, the UK announced the deployment of HMS Dragon (a Type 45 air-defence destroyer equipped with Sea Viper missiles for anti-missile/drone roles) to the eastern Mediterranean, along with two Wildcat helicopters fitted for counter-drone operations. The ship, however, in planned maintenance and will take time to arrive.

Phillips noted that action in Iran should have been obvious to anyone paying attention, and Starmer’s incompetence and failure of planning, intelligence, and foresight have left the UK’s interests in peril.

“It horrifies me to read that. And Jake is right, our amazing armed forces deserve all the credibility, they deserve good resources, they deserve to have our full support, they deserve to be protected, for crying out loud. We were exposed out there. We knew that there was going to be war in that region, and we have left them undefended,” Phillps stated. “And now France and Greece are having to run to our rescue.”

“Do you know what? I’ve got a message not just for this Prime Minister, but all of you, all of you, for the past 20 years, you have been self-indulgent. You have been naive. Your policy principles have had totally the wrong priorities. It’s been about keeping your seats, gaining your seats, pandering to communities who will never vote for you, who do not have our interests at heart.”

“You didn’t stop those pro-Palestine marches. You didn’t prescribe the Muslim Brotherhood. You didn’t prescribe the IRGC. You were weak in support of Israel. You sabotaged our self-sufficiency when it comes to energy production, concreting those oil wells, banning exploratory drilling in the North Sea.”

“What on earth do you think you’re doing? You’re domestic terrorists!  You’re sabotaging this nation. You’re compromising food security by attacking the farmers. Well, guess what? When international maritime shipping routes close down, food can no longer reach our island.”

“Everything that this government, and quite frankly previous governments, have been doing for far too long now has been pathetic. It’s been weak-willed. It has had its eye off the ball. It has been narcissistic. It’s been about looking good in public. And at the same time, you have put Britain in a desperately precarious situation.”

“You’ve flooded this land with foreign enemies. You have not secured our borders because of pandering to out-of-date, not fit for purpose international law and treaties that belong in the dustbin of history, that defend our enemies and straitjacket our ability to defend ourselves.”

“You have bowed down at the altar to every single dangerous, perilous, pathetic, and weak woke ideology out there, filling up your shopping cart, showering yourself in faux moral glory. Well, look at where we are now.”

“We’re not able to defend our RAF base. We are completely out of the picture, not trusted by our allies. In fact, they’re having to rush to our defense.”

“We’ve got the highest energy prices in the world, and guess what? With the cost of gas going up 90%, we’re gonna be hit hard.”

“Qatar, the one person who was supplying us with liquefied natural gas, well, they’re not going to be able to anymore. And are we self-sufficient? Are we resilient? No! Because everyone who’s been in power just thinks war is a distant thing that won’t happen to them.”

“What is more important is rainbow lanyards and pronouns. You’re pathetic! Look what you’ve done to this country, the lot of you, for crying out loud! Right, got that off my chest, didn’t I?”
