Ireland has awakened.

The massive fuel price protests began on April 7, 2026, and are now today (12) in their sixth day.

While it’s fair to say that the fuel spike we are witnessing is caused by the military conflict in Iran and the closure of the vital waterways of the Strait of Hormuz, that is not the entire story.

What we are seeing is the action of ordinary Irish truckers, farmers, transporters, taxi and bus drivers that are pushing back against suicidal ‘green’ policies implemented by the Irish government.

These policies, as they are, align with international climate commitments, including the EU’s net-zero agenda and carbon pricing mechanisms.

Protesters explicitly demand the suspension or removal of the carbon tax on fuels — especially agricultural diesel.

Protesters are also calling for resuming domestic oil exploration off Ireland’s west coast, whereas current policies restrict fossil fuel development in favor of ‘rapid decarbonization’.

The protests involve drivers blocking major roadways, fuel depots, ports, and even Ireland’s only oil refinery in Whitegate, Cork.

Today (12), Ireland’ Garda used pepper spray and made arrests to clear protesters blockading the refinery.

Deutsche Welle reported:

“Authorities moved in to disperse the protesters to restore supplies after five days of nationwide demonstrations over soaring fuel prices.

Law enforcers, supported by armed forces personnel, moved in to reopen the Whitegate refinery in County Cork and escort fuel trucks on Saturday.

After Ireland’s Defense Forces joined the police in clearing the protests, Irish police chief Justin Kelly said on Saturday that the fuel protesters’ actions were ‘endangering the state’.”

But despite the police action, Seven Irish motorways remain BLOCKED.

The Sun reported:

IRISH commuters are being warned to expect significant delays today – as the fuel protests continue for the sixth day. Public transport is also facing delays on its major services amid the fuel protests, including blockades and limited fuel supplies.

Dublin’s M50, the biggest motorway in the country, was cleared in the early hours of this morning as part of Garda operations to remove blockage and restore access to the public.”

Two men engaged in a discussion during a live broadcast, with one holding a document and the other seated at a desk, surrounded by cameras and studio equipment.

On Wednesday, a judge extended a restraining order against James O’Keefe until May 11 and asked him to surrender his firearms.

James was served with a restraining order while he was livestreaming at his West Palm Beach, Florida, headquarters on Tuesday.

The Palm Beach Sheriff’s Deputy served James with a domestic violence restraining order.

The domestic violence restraining order was from Matthew Tyrmand, a former Project Veritas board member.

“Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Department just served me with a domestic violence restraining order from Matthew Tyrmand. The former board member from Project Veritas who said he wants to murder me,” James O’Keefe said.

“Despite admitting multiple times on hidden camera wanting me dead, Matthew Tyrmand filed a restraining order against ME in Miami Dade County,” O’Keefe said.

“Saying such things as: “I would kill him [O’Keefe]. Because he is one of the most evil people I’ve ever known.,”” he said.

“He even shot up my book with rifle bullets through my heart on the cover. The audacity of evil has no bounds,” O’Keefe said.

WATCH:

Here is the restraining order:

Last month James O’Keefe honey-trapped Matthew Tyrmand at a restaurant.

During the encounter in Miami Beach that was recorded by camera, Tyrmand ‘admitted’ to being an FBI-Southern District of New York (SDNY) informant.

WATCH:

So Tyrmand responded by slapping James with a restraining order.

James O’Keefe appeared before a judge in a Miami court on Wednesday morning.

The judge extended the restraining order and ordered James to surrender his firearms.

James said he will be filing an emergency appeal.

Full statement from James O’Keefe:

Just got out of court in Miami. The Judge extended the temporary restraining order until May 11th. There will be a ruling then.

The court is now asking me to surrender my firearms. See documents below.

We are filing an emergency interlocutory appeal today.

Prior restraint against a newsroom is unconstitutional. Near v Minnesota. NYT v United States. This is a violation of our 1st and 2nd amendment rights. We are filing an anti-SLAAP, seeking attorneys fees and will appeal all the way, if necessary.

The TRO is also based upon third party’s comments, not our reporting. Thats a “hecklers veto,” where the government suppresses or restricts news reporting because of the reaction of an audience.

This is regarding our reporting on Matt Tyrmand. We published a tape of him threatening to kill me. He shot up an image of me on the front of my book with a rifle bullet through my heart. He bragged about being a SDNY informant.

Comments were angry at him. He just brought a “domestic violence stalking” Restraining order afterwards in Miami family court against my news organization, and the local Judge signed off. This is an extraordinary series of events. This is not an April Fools joke.

This is the third illegal alien charged with murder in Fairfax County in recent weeks. An illegal alien from Sierra Leone with a lengthy criminal record was charged in the stabbing death of Stephanie Minter at a bus stop in late February. An illegal alien also from Guatemala was charged in another stabbing murder last weekend.

Fox News reporter Bill Melugin posted, ” I’m told by two ICE sources that the “Virginia father” charged w/ murdering his 3-month-old infant daughter in Fairfax County, VA is a Guatemalan illegal alien who entered the U.S. as a gotaway. He is now charged w/ murder & ICE filed detainer.”

Fairfax County police statement:

Father Charged with Murder in Death of 3-Month-Old Daughter

Detectives from our Homicide Squad and Child Abuse Squad have charged a 28-year-old man in connection with the death of his 3-month-old daughter in Bailey’s Crossroads.

On March 27, shortly after 7:30 p.m., officers responded to the 3400 block of Lake Street in Bailey’s Crossroads for the report of an unresponsive infant. Upon arrival, officers determined the infant was not breathing and immediately began CPR until Fire and Rescue personnel arrived and continued life-saving efforts. The infant was transported to a local hospital, where she was later pronounced deceased.

At the time of the incident, the infant was in the care of her father, Misael Lopez Gomez, 28, of Bailey’s Crossroads. During the investigation, detectives and hospital staff observed evidence consistent with abuse.

Preliminarily, results from the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner’s autopsy determined the cause of death was blunt force trauma.

Today, Lopez Gomez was arrested and charged with Second Degree Murder and Felony Child Abuse. He is being held at the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center on no bond.

Both murders by the alleged illegal alien Guatemalan men took place in the Bailey’s Crossroads section of Fairfax County (near the city of Falls Church) which has long been a haven for illegal aliens. The Minter murder took place in the Hybla Valley section (just south of the city of Alexandria) which is also home to large numbers of illegal aliens.

The House Judiciary Committee has scheduled a hearing for April 15 on Fairfax County’s deadly sanctuary policies (WJLA-TV excerpt)

Fairfax County Commonwealth’s Attorney Steve Descano and Sheriff Stacey Kincaid were invited to testify at a hearing next month before the House Judiciary subcommittee on Immigration Integrity, Security, and Enforcement.

The hearing, titled “Fairfax County, Virginia: The Dangerous Consequences of Sanctuary Policies,” is set for April 15.

The following invitation was sent to Kincaid and Descano:

“The hearing will examine how state and local policies that prohibit cooperation with federal immigration authorities hurt public safety. Your testimony will assist the Committee and Subcommittee in developing legislative reforms to address sanctuary jurisdictions.“

The committee members previously sent letters to Descano and Kincaid. The hearing was scheduled after the murder of Stephanie Minter in Fairfax County.

The U.S. Department of Education is also investigating Fairfax County after an 18-year-old illegal alien high school junior, Israel Flores Ortiz from El Salvador, was charged with serially groping girls between their legs in school.

ED is opening yet another investigation in Fairfax County following reports from 12 high school girls who have credibly accused one male student – an illegal immigrant – of sexual assault. This is the latest in a long list of investigations into Northern VA school divisions:

FIVE Northern VA school divisions allowed students to access bathrooms and intimate facilities based on subjective ‘gender identity.’ Female students say they witnessed male students inappropriately touch other students and watch female students change in a female locker room. Many female students in the Divisions have reported that they avoid using the restroom at school because the policies make them feel unsafe and uncomfortable.

And, just last week, convicted sex offender Richard Cox – a man charged with possessing child pornography and exposing and touching himself in girl’s locker rooms in multiple VA high schools – had his trial paused. Arlington Public Schools and Arlington County allow the use of intimate facilities based on ‘gender identity.’ Cox now wants the charges dismissed, claiming that the women testifying against him just “don’t find my body beautiful.”

Virginia’s experiment with radical gender ideology, race-based admissions systems, far-Left indoctrination, and unlawful discrimination has inflicted immeasurable harm on our students. It must stop.
