T.I. Hits 50 Cent With Another Bristling Diss Track: ‘I Don’t Make Memes’

Published

on

T.I. has released another fiery diss track targeting 50 Cent, and he doesn’t seem to have any intention of stopping anytime soon.

The latest bristling diss arrived on Wednesday night (Feb. 25) via a post on X, which features a photo of a scrawny 50 Cent from his role in 2011’s All Things Fall Apart as the cover art.

“Msg to da D—o dealer: I don’t make memes I MAKE MUSIC!!!! IDGAF what you erase… You keep posting = it’s Problems!!!! #WhatBully,” Tip captioned the post for what appears to be titled “What Bully.”

In the lyrics, T.I. calls out 50 for being the bully of hip-hop on social media, but when the tables turned, the G-Unit mogul tucked his tail and wanted no part of sparring with the trap pioneer in the booth. “You da kinda sucka n—a we don’t like/ Want to bully everybody who don’t want no problem/ Then n—as come bully you and you don’t want no problem,” T.I. raps to close out the track.

50 has refused to respond to Tip with raps, but has continued to reply with various memes and posts to social media. “Goes to old rappers stil trying to battle rap, ChatGPT told me that. I don’t need to rap, YOU need me to rap. LOL get the fvck off my page,” 50 replied in his caption of a since-deleted post with a “Stupid A— N—a Award” diploma photo.

However, 50 has since backed down and scrubbed his entire IG feed of all his previous posts tied to T.I. and his family members, such as Tip’s wife (Tiny Harris) and son King Harris.

“I’m out of here, you guys hurt my feelings,” 50 wrote alongside a photo of him heading on a private jet.

T.I. has basked in the buzz while poking at 50, as their relationship deteriorated since the Queens native backed down from a potential Verzuz battle.

As he preps his final Kill the King album, Tip’s momentum has carried him back to the Billboard Hot 100, where his “Let ‘Em Know” hit has reached a peak of No. 43 on the chart dated Feb. 28.

Teyana Taylor Keeps Her Cool on ‘Hot Ones,’ Dreams Up Her Fantasy Restaurant & Talks Most Heated Dance Battle: ‘We Got It Poppin’

Teyana Taylor knows from hot food. But the Oscar-nominated One Battle After Another star and admitted foodie wasn’t foolish enough to save the hard questions for the end, so she asked Hot Ones host Sean Evans to front-load the “deep” questions before things fall apart. “I’m a spicy food girl. I love spicy,” the Golden Globe-winning singer/actress/dancer said confidently on the latest episode of the chat-and-sweat web series. “I just don’t know what you planted in these wings. So I’m, like, cautious, you know, alert.”

Evans, who notoriously does his homework, hit Taylor with a question off the top about her decision to enroll in the prestigious Escoffier School of Culinary Arts last year, where she’s pursuing a degree in pastry and culinary, wondering what her dream restaurant would look like. Taylor pictured a retro servers-on-skate diner vibe with banquettes shaped like 1950s cars, with leather chef’s jackets. “It’s gonna be something cute,” she said, already picturing the merch.

Four wings in, Taylor bit into the first truly hot wing, a Smokin’ Dragon sauce that led to a question about her most heated dance battle. “I think my most intense battle was in, like, third grade,” she said of the showdown that took place at recess with no music. “And I just, I remember we just got it, we got it popping. We had to like, I don’t even know what was playing,” she recalled.

Taylor also weighed in on keeping her cool on stage when things go wrong, such as embracing her wig flying off and whipping it around her head, the proper form for double-dutching and having patience in Hollywood. “I just learned that there’s always something bigger in store for you,” she said. “So even when you get that no, understanding that that no is also a win. And I think that patience is a part of knowing what’s for you and what’s not.”

The “Maybe” singer was starting to feel it by the time she bit into a wing covered in “Da Bomb” (135,600 Scoville level). “Baby, I need you to stop asking me questions right now, let’s take a beat,” she said as she got close to the finish line and tried to answer a question for a 2020 Billboard interview in which she said R&B music is the “realest b–ch” in the world.

Taking a sip of milk and then cranberry juice, she explained, “no stone is left unturned in R&B. You get to be your most vulnerable,” as she joined Evans in chewing ice to alleviate the pain. “You shoulda asked me all the cute questions up top,” she said. “I had all the answers in the world earlier. I was spitting bars. Now it’s just getting a little… crazy.”

The chat ended with Taylor trying to keep her cool while rhapsodizing about her love for the classic 1990 Julia Roberts/Richard Gere romcom Pretty Woman. “I love the idea of fairytales as well. And I just love love,” she said. “Julia Roberts is like my favorite person in the whole wide world. And it was just my favorite. I had the biggest crush on Richard Gere … it’s one of my favorite films.”

Dave Grohl Had ‘No Idea’ Daughter Violet Signed a Record Deal, Says Her Album ‘Inspired’ New Foo Fighters LP

Dave Grohl is a proud dad. In a new interview, the Foo Fighters rocker raved all about his daughter Violet Grohl’s debut album, which he says she made entirely on her own without any help from him.

Josh Freese Says He Has ‘A Lot to Say’ About Foo Fighters Exit

In a conversation with his bandmates on The Chris Moyles Show on Radio X posted Wednesday (Feb. 25), Dave recalled learning that his child had created an LP and signed a record deal all by herself. “So Violet, my daughter — she’s 19, about to turn 20 — she made this album with a producer named Justin Raisen, and she did it on her own,” he gushed.

“She met the producer, and they would go to the studio every day and make songs, and she would send me songs when she was finished,” he continued. “But I had absolutely nothing to do with this record at all. I had no idea.”

Noting that he “knew that she was looking to sign a record deal,” Dave added that he was still in disbelief when Violet informed him that she had, in fact, done just that. “She was like, ‘Hey, Dad, can I come over for dinner tonight?’ And I’m like, ‘Yeah, sure. What do you want me to make?'” he shared. “And she came over and told me, ‘I signed my record deal today.’ Like, oh my God. I’m totally uninvolved, and I’m like the dad that wants to be there and know everything, and she’s just totally doing her own thing.”

The Nirvana alum shares Violet — who inked a deal with Republic Records in January — with his wife, director Jordyn Blum, with whom he also has two younger daughters. Grohl is the father of a fourth child as well, admitting in September 2024 that he’d welcomed a baby “outside of my marriage.” (He added at the time that he planned on being a “loving and supportive parent” to the child while working to regain his family’s trust and “earn their forgiveness.”)

The interview comes as the Foo Fighters are gearing up to release new album Your Favorite Toy in April, marking the band’s first LP since 2023’s But Here We Are, which debuted at No. 8 on the Billboard 200. But according to Dave, one of the reasons why he felt motivated to get back in the studio with his own band was Violet, who released debut single “Nausea” in 2021 followed by tracks “THUM” and “Applefish” this past January.

“[Her] record is amazing — she is so incredibly talented,” he said. “It really inspired me to make this one. It really did.”
