‘Pinky Up’! Here’s When KATSEYE’s New Single Arrives

Published

on

KATSEYE is taking EYEKONS to etiquette classes, and the first rule we’re learning? Pinkies up.

The HYBE K-pop girl group announced new single “Pinky Up” via a series of social media posts. The first arrived Monday (March 30). It was a cryptic video featuring the Mona Lisa bringing a piping hot cup of tea up to her mouth — pinky up, of course. The next came Tuesday morning (March 31), this time featuring an arcade claw machine with “KATSEYE” emblazoned across the top as the claw pulls out a sword from the midst of blinged out stuffed animals and a singular tea cup. What may be a hint to some of the song’s lyrics, the caption for the reel says, “We’re screaming from cloud nine!!”

The third post confirmed the arriving single and its artwork, featuring someone kneeling on a carpet behind with a tea cup on a saucer and a toy cat, and the title of the song across the front in hot pink lettering. The caption reads “PINKY UP SINGLE RELEASE” as well as the release date and time, April 9 at 9 a.m. PT/12 p.m. ET.

“Pinky Up” comes out just in time for KATSEYE’s Coachella debut on Friday (April 10). The single will also be the band’s first new work since record labels HYBE and Geffen announced last month that member Manon Bannerman would be taking a break from the group. Since Manon has stepped back, KATSEYE has continued their previously scheduled appearances, including performances at Lollapalooza Argentina and Lollapalooza Chile. On March 24, the band was announced as the headliner for the 2026 Head in the Clouds Music & Arts Festival, to take place on Aug. 8 in Passadena, Calif.

Lady Gaga’s Top 40 Billboard Hot 100 Hits, From ‘Just Dance’ to ‘Die With a Smile’

Published

By

Ever since she topped the Billboard Hot 100 with her debut track “Just Dance” in 2008, Lady Gaga has cemented herself as one of the greatest pop stars of the 21st century.

The success of “Just Dance” was not at all a fluke, it was actually an indicator of what was to come. Her follow-up track “Poker Face” also hit No. 1 on the Hot 100. Her debut album The Fame debuted at 17 on the Billboard 200 and rose to No. 2 on the chart after release of The Fame Monster. In the years after “Just Dance,” Gaga would continue to release some of the defining pop tracks of the century with songs like “Born This Way” and “Bad Romance.”

Lady Gaga has also made waves outside of pop music. Since her debut, she has released not one but two Grammy-winning jazz duet albums with legend Tony Bennett. In 2012, she started the Born This Way Foundation, a non-profit organization focused on tackling issues of youth mental health and bullying. In 2018, she wrote music for and starred in Bradley Cooper’s A Star is Born remake, earning her first Oscar nominations and a win for best original song. The following year, Gaga launched her makeup company Haus Labs, which has gone on to win several beauty awards for their innovative products.

Now, nearly two decades into her illustrious career, Gaga continues to ascend. In 2025, she released her seventh solo studio album MAYHEM, which topped the Billboard 200 and spawned six Hot 100 hits, including the No. 1 Bruno Mars duet “Die With a Smile.” The single spent five weeks at No. 1 and 60 weeks on the chart, and also made history as the first ever year-end Hot 100 No. 1 duet by a female and male soloist each in lead roles in the chart’s history. On top of the charts success, MAYHEM also brought Gaga her 15th and 16th Grammys with wins for best dance pop recording (for “Abracadabra”) and best pop vocal album at the 2026 awards.

On Saturday (March 28), Gaga will be celebrating her 40th birthday. To celebrate her milestone birthday, let’s take a trip down memory lane and look at Mother Monster’s 40 biggest Hot 100 hits thus far, below.

Lady Gaga’s biggest Billboard Hot 100 hits chart is based on performance on the weekly Billboard Hot 100, through the March 21, 2026, ranking. Songs are ranked based on an inverse point system, with weeks at No. 1 earning the greatest value and weeks at No. 100 earning the least. Due to changes in chart methodology over the years, eras are weighted to account for different chart turnover rates over various periods.

Initially harboring aspirations to start a rap career under the name B.2ma B., Basa eventually pivoted to the executive track and landed music programming roles at BET, MTV and REVOLT. Yes Postpones European ‘Fragile’ Tour as Guitarist Steve Howe Prepares for ‘Essential Operation’

Yes is postponing their European tour so that guitarist Steve Howe can undergo an “essential operation.”

The English progressive rock band took to social media on Thursday (April 2) to announce that the group is delaying the 11-date Fragile tour of Europe to allow Howe time to recover from an undisclosed surgery.

“The upcoming YES ‘Fragile’ UK and EU Tour, due to commence on 22nd April, has had to be postponed as guitarist Steve Howe requires an essential operation that requires recovery time,” Yes wrote on Instagram. “This decision has been made to ensure that Steve can return to the stage in full health and deliver the performances that fans deserve.”

The European leg of the tour was originally scheduled to begin on April 22 at Scotland’s Glasgow Royal Concert Hall and was set to feature a full performance of the band’s 1971 album, Fragile. The tour follows a North American leg, which took place in 2025.

Yes added, “We are working hard to reschedule the UK and EU shows to a later date, with full details to be announced after Easter. Please retain your tickets as they will be valid for the rescheduled dates.”

The band concluded their statement, “Tour dates currently being arranged for later in 2026 will proceed as planned. Steve Howe and YES would like to thank their UK fans and hope for their continued support at this time.”

Released in November 1971, Fragile was Yes’s fourth album and the third they released within a 16-month span. It became the group’s most successful release up to that point, building on the success of The Yes Album, which had reached No. 40 on the Billboard 200. Fragile would peak at No. 4, surpassed only by Close to the Edge the following year.

Of the original lineup that recorded Fragile, only Howe remains an active member. Drummer Bill Bruford left the group in 1992, while vocalist Jon Anderson and keyboardist Rick Wakeman departed in 2004. Bassist Chris Squire stayed with the band until his passing in 2015.
