Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson Admits to 30% Reduction in Homicides After Trump Intervention

Far-left Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson (D) became a contortionist when asked about violence in his city, wiggling every way he could to deflect from the positive impact of President Trump’s actions to lower crime.

But try as he might, the mayor reluctantly admitted that there has been a 30% reduction in homicides.

Johnson appeared on MSNow’s ‘The Weekend’ and was asked, “That has been replicated in other big cities. Is the President right to say that it was his actions in Chicago, bringing federal agents to Chicago that made Chicago safer?”

He replied, “He is not. I mean, this President continues to exacerbate instability across our country. In fact, where ICE and federal agents were present, we actually saw an increase in violence. In other words, the tension and the chaos that federal agents bring to cities in America, it actually is counterproductive.”

“So yes, we saw a 30% reduction in homicides, shootings, shooting victims all down.  In fact, the city of Chicago doubled the amount of the national average in terms of violence reduction.”

“Because in my role as mayor, it’s about showing up for working people. We’ve revamped the Detective’s Bureau to bring closure and accountability in the city of Chicago, 71% clearance rate. We’re solving crime.”

Johnson then tried to pretend other things are stopping crime, “We’re building more affordable homes. I’ve reopened mental health clinics, expanded mental health care, investing in our young people. Over 31,000 young people had summer jobs because we know that policing alone is not going to save.”

So, housing and summer jobs reduced crime, but removing violent criminal aliens is “chaos?”

Last week, President Trump spoke with Dan Bongino about how much easier it is to work with red states vs. blue states and noted that crime overall is down in Chicago by 25%.

In December, Trump announced the withdrawal of the National Guard from crime-ridden cities, for now.

“We are removing the National Guard from Chicago, Los Angeles, and Portland, despite the fact that CRIME has been greatly reduced by having these great Patriots in those cities, and ONLY by that fact. Portland, Los Angeles, and Chicago were GONE if it weren’t for the Federal Government stepping in.”

“We will come back, perhaps in a much different and stronger form, when crime begins to soar again – Only a question of time! It is hard to believe that these Democrat Mayors and Governors, all of whom are greatly incompetent, would want us to leave, especially considering the great progress that has been made??? President DJT”

Vice President JD Vance, Second Lady Usha Vance, and their children arrived in Armenia on Monday.

This is the first-ever visit to Armenia by a sitting US President or US Vice President.

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan greeted Vance at the Presidential Palace in the capital of Yerevan.

Vance praised Armenia as the oldest Christian country in the world.

Armenia adopted Christianity as its official religion in 301 AD.

The Armenians have been persecuted for their Christian faith. The Ottoman Muslim Turks killed more than 1.3 million Armenians at the beginning of the 20th century (Armenian Genocide).

“This is a beautiful country… I’m thankful for the personal welcome, not just to me personally, but also to my family. This is, of course, one of the oldest Christian cultures in the entire world, so I feel a great amount of affinity to the people of Armenia,” Vance said.

Once again, during a joint press conference with Pashinyan, Vance praised Armenia as the oldest Christian counry in the entire world.

“This is one of the oldest Christian countries in the entire world — a true bedrock of Christian civilization and culture. As a devout Christian myself, I know the meaning of this country to the entire world and to the religion that the prime minister and I share,” Vance said.

Vance and PM Pashinyan signed a nuclear deal.

“Vance and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan signed an agreement to push forward negotiations on a civil nuclear energy deal, and Vance said the U.S. was ready to export advanced computer chips and surveillance drones to Armenia, and invest in the country’s infrastructure,” AP reported.

Last year, President Trump brokered a historic peace agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan.

Sharing confidential files with Epstein is generating a police activity in the UK.

In the United Kingdom, the deluge of damning revelations contained in the US DOJ-released ‘Epstein Files’ is causing quite the commotion.

But while there are countless revelations of participating in international sex trafficking by elite figures like former Prince Andrew, what is really finally mobilizing some police response is the sharing of secret documents with the late pedophile-financier Jeffrey Epstein.

Today (9), UK police confirmed the ‘assessment’ of grave allegations that Andrew shared confidential trade files with Epstein.

The New York Post reported:

“The disgraced royal, who served as the UK’s Special Representative for International Trade and Investment between 2001 and 2011, allegedly sent Epstein reports about trips to Vietnam and Singapore in 2010, according to documents in the millions of files released about Epstein.”

“Trade envoys must keep details about trips confidential — even when they are no longer in the role under the Official Secrets Act.

[…] Thames Valley Police, which serves the area including the ex-royal’s former home in Windsor, confirmed it was looking at Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor after an anti-monarchy campaigner reported him for suspected misconduct in public office and breaches of Britain’s Official Secrets Act.”

Head of a British republican pressure group advocating the abolishing of the monarchy, Graham Smith reported Andrew to UK police.

Smith compared the allegations against Andrew to those of the former UK ambassador to the US, Peter Mandelson, accused of leaking government documents to Epstein in a scandal threatening to bring down the government.
