Latin patriots have the right momentum.

Less than a week after the ‘Shield of the Americas’ summit in Doral, Florida, right-wing leaders are on the move across Latin America.

The most relevant development today (11) was right-wing José Antonio Kast being sworn in as Chile’s new president, expected to move the country considerably to the right.

Associated Press reported:

“In a ceremony at the National Congress in the coastal city of Valparaíso and attended by dozens of heads of state, Kast and his Cabinet took the oaths of office after a landslide victory in the 2025 elections.

Among those attending the ceremony were Argentina’s President Javier Milei, Panama’s President José Raúl Mulino, Ecuadorian President Daniel Noboa, and Spain’s King Felipe VI. Other guests included Nobel Peace Prize laureate María Corina Machado.

There were several high-profile absences, including Presidents Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva of Brazil and Nayib Bukele of El Salvador. A modest U.S. delegation was led by Deputy Secretary of State Christopher Landau.”

“Kast, a Trump-inspired political veteran, won a landslide victory in December against government-backed communist candidate Jeannette Jara with the promise of fighting crime and curbing illegal immigration, a project that holds similarities to policies adopted by his U.S. counterpart.”

Watch: Kast gets a standing ovation entering Chilean Congress.

In the meantime, Ecuador is set to launch a major offensive against criminal organizations as soon as this weekend, with logistical support from the United States.

Military Times reported:

“Speaking to a local radio station, Interior Minister John Reimberg urged citizens to observe an 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. curfew from March 15-30 in the provinces of Guayas, Los Ríos and Santo Domingo de los Tsáchilas — three of the most violent in the South American country.

[…] ‘We do not want collateral victims from the attacks we are about to launch’, Reimberg said. ‘We have significant support from U.S. forces for the operations we are about to carry out’.”

“The announcement came days after Ecuador and the U.S. began joint military operations against organized crime groups in the South American country, although at the time neither government gave details of the location and scope of the operation.”

Paraguay’s Peña is an outspoken leader against socialism.

And finally, Paraguay’s Chamber of Deputies approved today a landmark defense agreement allowing US military presence.

Los Angeles Times reported:

“Paraguay’s Chamber of Deputies on Tuesday approved a defense agreement allowing the temporary presence of U.S. military and civilian personnel within its borders, widely seen as a victory for the Trump administration, which has sought to strengthen its presence in Latin America.

The Status of Forces Agreement, or SOFA, was approved by a large majority of lawmakers and now awaits the signature of President Santiago Peña to take effect. Peña, one of Trump’s closest allies in the region, is expected to sign the deal in the coming days.

[…] Signed by both countries in Washington in December, the agreement establishes a legal framework for the presence of U.S. security forces in Paraguay for training, joint exercises and humanitarian assistance. It also authorizes the United States to have criminal jurisdiction over its personnel while in the country.”

The US Central Command on Wednesday released footage of the US Military blowing up Iran’s Air Force.

“The Iranian regime is losing air capability day by day. U.S. forces aren’t just defending against Iranian threats, we are methodically dismantling them,” CENTCOM said.

WATCH:

The US Military this week conducted strikes on the Iranian navy in the Strait of Hormuz.

The footage showed an Iranian submarine minelayers and smaller vessels being blown up.

On Tuesday, President Trump boasted that the US Military destroyed 10 inactive mine-laying boats in the Strait of Hormuz.

“I am pleased to report that within the last few hours, we have hit, and completely destroyed, 10 inactive mine laying boats and/or ships, with more to follow!

The US military has destroyed at least 60 Iranian ships since Operation Epic Fury began late last month.

Secretary of War Pete Hegseth last week said, “the Iranian Air Force is no more.”

A drone carrier vessel the size of a WWII aircraft carrier was destroyed by the US military last week.

Seven US service members have been killed in action in Operation Epic Fury.

Hegseth on Tuesday said the strikes against Iran will intensify.

“Today will be, yet again, our most intense day of strikes inside Iran,” Hegseth said during a press briefing on Tuesday at the Pentagon. “The most fighters, the most bombers, the most strikes; intelligence more refined and better than ever. So, that’s on one hand. On the other hand, the last 24 hours have seen Iran fire the lowest number of missiles they’ve been capable of firing yet.”

President Trump Orders MASSIVE 172 MILLION Barrel Oil Release from Strategic Petroleum Reserve to Crush Energy Prices

President Donald Trump has ordered the release of 172 MILLION barrels of oil from the United States’ Strategic Petroleum Reserve (SPR) to combat record-high energy prices triggered by the ongoing war with Iran.

The release, one of the largest in American history, will begin next week and will take approximately 120 days to complete, according to Energy Secretary Christopher Wright.

This coordinated move comes after 32 member nations of the International Energy Agency (IEA) unanimously backed President Trump’s request for a massive 400 million barrel global release to stabilize markets and protect American drivers and families.

U.S. Secretary of Energy Chris Wright released the following powerful statement, underscoring Trump’s ironclad commitment to American energy security:

“Earlier today, 32 member nations of the International Energy Agency unanimously agreed to President Trump’s request to lower energy prices with a coordinated release of 400 million barrels of oil and refined products from their respective reserves.

“As part of this effort, President Trump authorized the Department of Energy to release 172 million barrels from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve, beginning next week. This will take approximately 120 days to deliver based on planned discharge rates.

“President Trump promised to protect America’s energy security by managing the Strategic Petroleum Reserve responsibly and this action demonstrates his commitment to that promise. Unlike the previous administration, which left America’s oil reserves drained and damaged, the United States has arranged to more than replace these strategic reserves with approximately 200 million barrels within the next year—20% more barrels than will be drawn down—and at no cost to the taxpayer.

“For 47 years, Iran and its terrorist proxies have been intent on killing Americans. They have manipulated and threatened the energy security of America and its allies. Under President Trump, those days are coming to an end.

“Rest assured, America’s energy security is as strong as ever.”

Trump is already lined up replacements that will leave the SPR stronger than before, including massive new supplies from Venezuela (as TGP reported in January when Trump announced 30-50 million barrels heading our way).

Caught in Broad Daylight: Ballot Initiative Signature-Gatherers in California Paying For Signatures – Backed by Billionaire PAC

Individuals engaged in paperwork at a community event, showcasing collaboration and organization in a vibrant urban setting.

On Monday, street videographer JJ Smith captured on camera what appears to be election crimes in San Francisco, California.  In broad daylight.

The video shows a line of people at the corner of 6th Street and Mission Street in the SoMa neighborhood, soliciting signatures on Monday afternoon.

The clip begins with Smith walking up on the line with a sign that reads, “Can you read & Write?  Sign Petition for $5.”

Smith asks a man in the line, “What’s the line for?”  He responds that they’re “giving five bucks to sign a petition.”

When Smith asks the two women seated at the table, “I get $5 too?”  She replies, “Yeah.”

“What is it?” he asks.

The woman responds, “Just sign it.”

The woman can then be seen highlighting a paper for another woman in the line but off camera.

“First name is going to be Carol, last name Sanderson.  This is the address right here.  This is the city, Avila Beach, and this is the zip code,” she tells the woman.  As the woman takes the paper and pen to sign it, the worker says, “So remember, first name is ‘Carol'”.

In a news interview with KCRA 3 News, Smith said he sat there for two hours and watched hundreds of people come and go.

According to Laura Powell, a civil liberties attorney on X, the video “appears to show signature gatherers for ballot initiatives sponsored by Building a Better California.”

“Building a Better California is an advocacy group with an associated political action committee (PAC) founded with $35 million from Google co-founder Sergey Brin, former Google CEO Eric Schmidt, and numerous other billionaires,” according to InfluenceWatch.org.

“The group is widely speculated to have formed to combat a proposed wealth tax on billionaires in California, although as of February 2026, Building a Better California was officially neutral on the issue,” states InfluenceWatch.org.

Powell wrote that, “[A] Spokesperson for Building a Better California Abby Lunardi told me via email [that] they were aware of the video and have contacted the signature-gathering agency to reject any petitions from the circulator in the video.  She emphasized, ‘We do not tolerate this or any type of fraudulent activity in the signature-gathering process.'”

Regarding the spokesperson, Lunardi, InfluenceWatch.org describes her as “the chief marketing officer of Truity, a personality and career testing service” and notes that she previously worked for the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative as the chief communications and brand officer.  The Chan Zuckerberg Initiative is infamous for injecting over $400 million into the 2020 Election.

Ashley Zavala of KCRA 3 News reported on Smith’s video and confirmed the signature-gatherers were doing so for an initiative that is “backed by billionaires fighting a proposed wealth tax.”

Another campaign they were gathering for was a proposed retirement and personal savings protection act.  Zavala said all three campaigns involved acknowledged their petitions were being carried by these signature-gatherers.

Zavala said campaigns hire firms to gather signatures for anywhere between $15-17 per signature; however, she notes that they still don’t know why those signature-gatherers have voter information or where the extra money came from to pay the people to sign.

According to KCRA 3, those campaigns are:

  • Building a Better California
  • Californians For a More Transparent and Effective Government
  • a campaign for the Retirement and Personal Savings Protection Act
