Zendaya’s Rue Is on the Run in New ‘Euphoria’ Season 3 Trailer

Published

on

Television this year is about to get turned up a few notches, as Euphoria is slated to return with season three on April 12 following a four-year hiatus. HBO released a second trailer for the Zendaya-starring show on Monday (March 30).

The high-school days seem to be long in the rearview mirror, as season three feels more like a set of Grand Theft Auto campaign missions and takes place about five years post graduation.

The clip kicks off with Rue (Zendaya) being interrogated by authorities about a recent trip to Mexico. The scene pivots to her involvement with a Mexican drug lord, which finds Rue in a tricky predicament of having to swallow what appears to be a ball of drugs and act as a mule.

Nate (Jacob Elordi) and Cassie’s (Sydney Sweeney) toxic relationship ended with wedding bells, as the trailer shows the couple getting married, which is sure to come with plenty of drama. Maddie (Alexa Demie) also hops behind the camera to direct some adult content photo shoots for Cassie, who has rekindled their friendship.

Lexi (Maude Apatow) looks to have landed her dream job working on the set of a TV show. Euphoria also welcomes the returns of the late Eric Dane (who portrays Cal Jacobs), Colman Domingo (Ali), Dominic Fike (Elliot), Hunter Schafer (Jules) and Chloe Cherry (Faye).

“Mom, I really need to come home,” a teary-eyed Rue pleads with her mother. The superstar actress is also seen in the trailer being pulled over by police during a traffic stop, which appears to lead to the intense interrogation.

There’s also some new blood injected into season three, which will find appearances from Sharon Stone, former NFL star Marshawn Lynch, Rosalía, Danielle Deadwyler, Trisha Paytas, Natasha Lyonne and Eli Roth.

Season two aired in 2022, which came three years after a dynamic opening season in 2019.

Watch the Euphoria trailer above. Season three returns on April 12 on HBO, with the eight-episode season set to wrap on May 31.

Good 4 u, Olivia Rodrigo fans: After a three-year wait, the pop star announced that she is finally releasing her third studio album in 2026.

Rodrigo announced on the second day of April that her next LP will be titled You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love, formally kicking off her next album era. Sharing the project’s dreamy artwork, Rodrigo wrote, “I am so proud of this record and I can’t wait for you to hear it.”

Leading up to the big news, anticipation for fresh material from Rodrigo had been at an all-time high. There had been whispers that she was gearing up to drop something when a pink mural wall in Los Angeles — which fans linked back to the Grammy winner — popped up, displaying the phrase that would end up being the album’s title in curly-cue writing. But even before that, fans had been jonesing for new tunes, as Rodrigo hasn’t released a full-length since 2023. Her last album, sophomore effort Guts, opened atop the Billboard 200 and spawned Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 single “Vampire.” Two years prior, her chart-topping debut LP, Sour propelled Rodrigo to global superstardom, boosted by No. 1 hits “Drivers License” and “Good 4 U.”

Now, she’s got a batch of new future hits coming our way — and as the days count down to OR3, Billboard is keeping an updating list of everything we know so far. From the release date to its cover art, track count, lyrical themes and more, check out all there is to know about about You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love below.

Angelina Jolie’s Daughter Shiloh Makes Surprise Cameo in Dayoung’s ‘What’s a Girl to Do’ Music Video: Watch

Published

Shiloh Jolie is making a surprise appearance in Dayoung’s upcoming music video.

On Thursday (April 2), the K-pop singer shared a teaser for her forthcoming video “What’s a Girl to Do,” and fans were surprised to spot a cameo from Jolie, the 19-year-old daughter of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt.

Shiloh briefly appears in the 30-second clip, sporting slicked-back hair, a lacy brown top, hoop earrings and a lip ring. She is also seen in a choreographed sequence, where numerous dancers surround Dayoung as a pulsating beat plays in the background.

The “What’s a Girl to Do” teaser ends with the message, “She makes the first move,” as the April 7 release date appears in the background.

Shiloh was cast in the video as part of an “open audition” in the U.S., a representative from Starship Entertainment told Maeil Business Newspaper Star Today.

“We held an open audition in the United States of America (US) to cast performers for Dayoung’s music video,” the rep told the outlet. “Among those who took part were several performers affiliated with a dance crew called ‘Culture.'”

The agency insists Jolie’s casting wasn’t a PR stunt.

“Shiloh was selected in the final round and ended up joining Dayoung’s music video,” the representative added. “Even after filming, we had no idea she was the child of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, and only found out by chance quite recently.”

After the teaser was released, many fans took notice of Shiloh’s resemblance to her famous mother. “Holy s—t, mamma’s good genes are sooooo strong,” one person wrote on X. “It’s the eyes and the lips for me,” another wrote. “Pure Angelina energy.”

This isn’t the first time Shiloh has demonstrated her talent in front of the camera. In May 2024, choreographer Lil Kelaan Carter shared a video on Instagram of the teenager dancing solo to “Tanzania” by Uncle Waffles and Tony Duardo, featuring Sino Msolo and Boibizza.

“Her movement is crazy … Thank you for your energy @sh1lohj,” Carter captioned the clip.
